About
I am a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Virginia, where I am fortunate to be advised by Professor Nikos Sidiropoulos. My research focuses on signal processing and machine learning methods that exploit structure in high-dimensional data, with applications to wireless communications. Currently, I study multiview and subspace approaches that recover weak signals from strong interference, with an emphasis on identifiability guarantees and spectrum sharing.
Research interests: Tensor decomposition โข Signal processing for wireless communications โข Spectrum sharing and interference-robust reception
Before UVA, I earned my Diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, specializing in Electronics & Systems, with a diploma thesis on diffusion models for image analysis in medical imaging and autonomous driving, supervised by Professor Stefanos Kollias. I also worked as a software engineer building backend and machine learning systems for telecom and defense applications.

Beyond Research
Outside the lab, I love travelling and learning foreign languages. I speak Greek (native), English and French (fluent), Russian and Spanish (intermediate), and I am currently learning Mandarin. One of my personal goals is to visit every country in the world: so far I have been to 32 of 195, and the globe below shows where.
